NFC Monster Creator

Draw a 16×16 monster, choose its type and facing direction, spend 10 stat points, then generate the NFC data.

NFC Data

How it works

Each pixel becomes one hexadecimal character from 0-F. A 16×16 sprite therefore uses exactly 256 characters.

NFC data:

256 sprite characters
+ 1 facing character
+ 1 type character
+ 1 Health character
+ 1 Attack character
+ 1 Speed character
+ 8 reserved characters

Total = 269 characters

Facing:

L = Left
F = Forward
R = Right

Monster Type:

W = Water
F = Fire
G = Grass

Stats:

0-9 = values 0-9
A = 10
B = 11
C = 12
...
Z = 35

Every monster starts at:
Health 1 · Attack 1 · Speed 1

Then the player spends exactly 10 additional points.

HP = 120 + ((Health - 1) × 5)
Damage = 20 + (Attack - 1)
Dodge = 10 + ((Speed - 1) × 3%)
Max Dodge = 40%

Speed also determines who attacks first. The NFC card stores the original stat values, not calculated HP, damage, or dodge. This means the battle formulas can be rebalanced later without rewriting existing cards.

The final 8 characters are currently reserved for future monster data. For now they are all stored as 0.
